Meet the Scientist

Chris Wynder has a strong foundation in science and research, which he leverages in his current role as a marketing executive. 

He volunteers his expertise to Start-ups providing both individual mentorship as well as workshops designed to help scale-up companies using practical, tested advice.

Chris lives in London Ontario, where he spends his time chasing cats off counters. 

When not chasing cats off of counters, Chris volunteers with Forest City Water Polo, London St. George's Rugby.

From drug discovery protocols to Marketing and product strategy

Curious multi-discipline scientist

Chris graduate from the Prestigious Rockerfeller University. His Ph.D works was under the tuteluge of Nat Heintz a member of the National Academy of Sciences. He then move to the Wistar Institute  before starting his own program at McMaster University. 

As Canada Research Chair in Epigenetic Control of Stem Cells, Chris Wynder's research involves determining the interplay of different factors within stem cells that affect the decision on whether to multiply. 

The Wynder lab,  in the Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, created new protocols to help today's researchers test many aspects of Cancer, Neuroscience and Drug discovery.

Data-driven, Strategic advisor

A transition to technology and consulting after the Great recession brough Chris back to one of his early loves; computers and data analysis. 

His time at Info-Tech Research group served as apprenticeship in consulting and he quickly learned the basics of B2B and IT management. 

Since leaving Info-Tech, he has implemented systemic programs that have driven revenue and are the foundations of teams and programs that are thriving in response to the market fluctuations. 

He has turned his 14 years in High tech into a framework that is straightforward  enough for start-ups and Mid-sized companies to create their own marketing programs yet is grounded in the key strategic pillars of success for a Enterprise Marketing team.
